Q: How will classes for my freshman student-athlete be scheduled? What about scheduling class around practice?
A: The Freshman Advising Office sends out a Freshman Advising Questionnaire to every incoming freshman. Classes are scheduled based upon the responses listed. On Page 10 there is a space for your student-athlete to indicate which intercollegiate sport he/she plays. Make sure to check the appropriate box, and if you know the team's practice schedule you can indicate this on the following page, or you can make a note for the Freshman Advising Office to see the practice schedule (they have a copy in their office).
If you have any questions or concerns about scheduling, please contact Sarabeth Pollock, Coordinator of Athletic Academic Support, at 619-260-5931 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: When will we see my freshman student-athlete's fall schedule of classes?
A: The schedule should be posted to your student-athlete's MySanDiego email account within 2-3 weeks of returning the Freshman Advising Questionnaire.
Q: Who do we contact with financial aid questions?
A: For questions about athletic aid, please contact your coach. For all other financial aid questions, please contact the USD Office of Financial Aid Services at 619-260-4514.
