Last Time Out » It took a little extra time but the Toreros got its conference road slate started with a victory, pulling out an, 81-74, overtime decision at Portland. USD continued to play well and led for a majority of its contest at Saint Mary’s but was ultimately undone by a late run by the Gaels and fell, 70-63.
Need to Know » Isaiah Wright scored a career-high 30 points in the Torero’s win against Portland and leads the team with 15.1 points per game.

- Max Michaels and Anthony Lawrence were named FCS Athletics Directors Association Academic All-Star Team selections. The Toreros were one of 10 schools to have multiple recipients.
- USD football alum, Jamal Agnew ’17, was named to the AP All-Pro first team as a punt returner – one of just two rookies named to the first team.
