The new Mascot Cam app will allow fans to place Diego Torero directly into their photos.
Dec. 2, 2013
The University of San Diego Athletics Department is thrilled to announce the launch of the official Mascot Cam. This brand new app for your smartphone will allow you to take Diego Torero with you everywhere you go. Bring him on vacations, to work, to Torero games and more. The Mascot Cam kicks off today urging fans to support their favorite mascot and be on the lookout for weekly competitions on social media.
"Seenbox is proud to partner with USD to give fans a mobile outlet to bring Diego Torero on the go," said Robert Hanczor, Seenbox CEO. "This is the first university that has launched an app like this and we expect the Diego phenom to catch on very quickly."
"This new technology to promote Diego provides limitless enthusiasm and visibility for our mascot," said Steve Becvar, Associate AD for Marketing & Corporate Sponsorship. "All students, alums, friends of USD can include Diego in their special photo moments."
The app delivers a seamless experience that you can't find anywhere else and is packed with great features like different Diego poses, USD memorabilia and an easily accessible photo album that stores all of your designs. The app includes simplified editing tools that let you quickly improve the look of your photo, add fun effects and adjust the size and location of Diego Torero.
The all new Mascot Cam also makes sharing these images easier than ever. With the touch of a button, you can post your Diego Torero images directly to your Twitter or Facebook accounts. You can browse your photo library at any time and instantly share your favorite moments.
You can download the Mascot Cam today for free in the iTunes app store. Currently, this is only available for iPhones but will soon be released for Android users.
