Toreros trounce Highlanders 14-1

C.J. Burdick allowed just one hit in five shutout innings

JUNIOR (2017): Appeared in 22 games off the bench, primarily as a pinch-runner... Went 1-for-11 with an RBI, five runs scored and two walks... Stole four bases.

Attended Glendale Community College... Hit .379 with 21 RBI and 20 stolen bases in 2016.

Prepped at Notre Dame High School... as a senior, he hit .239 with 17 hits, two doubles, and 11 RBI... as a junior, he hit .349 with 30 hits, eight doubles, on double, one triple one home run and 19 RBI,  en route to a second-team All-League, and he was named is team's MVP and won the David A. Kreamer Character Award... as a sophomore, he hit .389 with seven hits, one double and had one RBI... also lettered in football.

PERSONAL: Christopher Dante Colarossi was born on May 27, 1996 in Glendale, Calif...he is the son of Ron and Karla Colarossi... was also recruited by USC, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge, Utah and San Diego State... chose to attend USD because it's a great academic school located in a great city, not to mention the baseball program here is very good, and develops many players for the pros... notes that he enjoys the outdoors, especially when hunting and fishing with his father.
