USD Upends Nebraska, 17-5

USD pounded out a season-high 18 hits in the win.

SOPHOMORE (2017): Appeared in 18 games, making three starts... Hit .286 (4-for-14) with four RBI and a run scored... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI at Tulane (3/12/17).

FRESHMAN (2016):
Started in eight of the 22 games he played during the season... Scored seven runs with three RBIs, a double and a triple... went 1-for-3 against Nebraska (2/26) with two runs... Went 2-for-4 at Pacific (5/14) with two runs, an RBI and his only triple on the season... Went 1-for-2 in the last game of the season against Gonzaga (5/21) with an RBI.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at San Ramon Valley High a senior, he hit .463 with 12 doubles en route to being named All-Bay Area, All-EBAL and his team's defensive MVP.

PERSONAL: Connor Doyle was born on June 25, 1997 in Walnut Creek, Calif....he the son of Steve Doyle and Sandra LeDrew...was also recruited by San Francisco, UC Davis and Pacific...chose to attend USD because of the outstanding baseball program, the amazing school and the amazing coaching staff...his sister Jacqueline was a swimmer on the Northwestern swim team...notes he used to swim at a very competitive level.
