JUNIOR (2017): Appeared in five games and pitched six innings with two strikeouts.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Played at Diablo Valley College...made 15 appearances, posting a 1-1 record, with one save and an ERA of 2.37 in 30.1 innings of work...had 31 strikeouts and issued nine walks.

FRESHMAN (2015): Played at Diablo Valley College...made seven appearances on the mound, posting a 2-1 record, while recording five strikeouts, and issuing four walks in 9.1 innings of work, to post a 4.82 ERA.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Acalanes High School...as a senior, he was named second-team All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League after recording a 1.60 ERA in 56.3 innings of work, striking out 40, and only issuing 15 walks...as a junior, he helped lead his team to a North Coast Section Championship, while posting a 1.23 ERA in 5.3 innings of work.

PERSONAL: Doug Nimura was born on July 15, 1996 in Walnut Creek, Calif....he is the son of Don Nimura and Mary McConnell... chose to attend USD because the city, the amazing baseball facility, the baseball program, great coaching staff, and quality psychology program... notes people like to call him Dougie Fresh.
