JUNIOR (2015): Played in 13 games with two starts… hit .312 with five hits, two RBI and one double…helped lead the team to the WCC championship…recorded one hit against Morehead State in back-to-back games (2/14/15)…. Recorded one hit against UC Irvine (3/31/15)…recorded one hits against San Francisco (4/19/15)…recorded one hit against Loyola Marymount (5/3/15).

SOPHOMORE (2014): Played 15 games with three starts... hit .182 with one double and four RBI... went 2-for-4 with two RBI against San Diego Christian (4/30).

SOPHOMORE (2013): Redshirted at College of the Canyons.

FRESHMAN (2012): Played at College of the Canyons...hit .360 with three home runs, and 28 RBI...named first-team All-State...was a preseason All-American.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Valencia High School...was a two-time All-Foothill League selection...was named a first-team All-Mission League as a sophomore...as a senior, he hit .330...as a junior he hit .365...as a sophomore, he hit .365.

PERSONAL: James Bonds was born on February 25, 1993 in Valencia, Calif....he is the son of Jim and Tricia Bonds...was also recruited by Oregon, UCLA, USC, Arizona, Cal State Northridge, and Cal Poly...chose to attend USD because of the baseball program, the location, and academic reputation of the university...his father, Jim, played football at UCLA...notes he loves to go fishing.
