SOPHOMORE (2012): Was selected as an All-Conference selection for the second consecutive season, named a First Team All-American by Baseball America, and a Third Team All American by Louisville Slugger...Started all 57 games for USD hitting .366 and led the team in the following categories RBI (57), home runs (14), runs (59), hits (79), walks (39), on-base percentage (.483), and slugging percentage (.671)...Was second on the team with nine stolen bases... Reached base safely in 53 of his 57 games... In a two game stretch against Columbia (March 16 and 18) went 6-for-9 with four home runs, ten RBI, and four runs... Was named to the WCC All-Academic Team after posting a 3.34 G.P.A.
FRESHMAN (2011): Named WCC Co-Player and Co-Freshman of the Year, America's first-team Freshman All-American, Louisville Slugger third-team All-American, and All-WCC Freshman Team...with 53 games starts at third-base/designated hitter... batted .365 (72-for-197) with 36 RBIs, nine homeruns, 17 doubles and 57 runs scored...totaled a .599 slugging percentage and .482 on base percentage...first homerun came against Winthrop on February 19, 2011, going 2-for-4 with a homerun and a double...totaled four homeruns in back-to-back games against hometown rival San Diego State...had a 15 game hitting streak (4/8/2011-5/1/2011) during conference play.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Bonanza High School...as a senior he hit .489 with 22 home runs and had 51 RBI en route to an AFLAC All-American, Baseball America, and USA Today high school All-American distinction...he was also named first-team All-State and the both the State and Southwest Conference Player of the Year as a senior, and named first-team All-Southern Nevada...he was a three-time first-team All-State player and a three-time first-team All-Southwest Conference selection...as a junior, he hit .484 with 14 home runs and 38 RBI...as a sophomore he hit .407 with 10 home runs and 36 RBI...as a freshman he hit .300 with one home run and 13 RBI...he was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 18th round of the 2010 MLB June draft.
PERSONAL: Kristopher Bryant was born on January 4, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nev....he is the son of Mike and Susie Bryant...he was heavily recruited by LSU, Arizona State, UC Irvine, Stanford, Clemson, Auburn, USC and Vanderbilt...chose to attend USD because of the great baseball program, the beach and the wonderful weather in San Diego...notes that he graduated high school with a 4.78 GPA, and that he is really into cars, and likes to play golf.
