HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Cactus Shadows High School...as a senior, he hit .433 with 25 stolen bases...as a senior, he was named first-team All-Region, and an All-State honorable mention...he was in the Arizona High School All-Star game as a senior, was a Rawlings West Coast All-American and was named to Baseball America's "Young Guns, One to Watch" list as a senior...as a junior he was named second-team All-Region after hitting .390...also lettered in basketball.

PERSONAL: Logan Davis was born on August 23, 1991 in Kansas City, Mo....he is the son of Mark and Candy Davis...was also recruited by Kansas, Texas State, Steven F. Austin, Eastern Michigan, Central Arkansas, McNeese State and Grand Canyon...chose to attend USD because of the great baseball tradition, and the excellent coaching staff...his father Mark, won the Cy Young Award in 1989 with the San Diego Padres...he was drafted in the 2010 MLB draft in the 38th round by Colorado.
