Baseball Returns to Top-25 at No. 23

USD is ranked as high as No. 23 by Baseball America.

FRESHMAN (2013): Made 20 appearances with one start out of the bullpen... helped lead the team to the WCC Tournament championship, and into the NCAA Regionals... posted a 1-1 record with a 4.94 ERA...recorded 21 strikeouts, while issuing 19 walks in 23.2 innings of work...picked up the win against UNLV allowing no runs on one hit, while striking out three in 3.0 innings of work (3/25)...also recorded a season-high three strikeouts in 2.0 innings of work against Kent State (2/23)...he was named the Galen Woods Fireman of the Year this summer, while posting a 3-1 record with six saves in 28.2 innings of work...he was primarily a closer, and recorded an impressive 0.94 ERA, while registering 37 strikeouts and only issuing eight walks.

FRESHMAN (2012): Redshirted at USD.

High School: Played baseball at Steele Canyon High School for coach Todd Snyder...he was the team captain both his junior and senior year...his senior year he pitched nine innings and was a CIF finalist...he also lettered in water polo and basketball.

Personal: Wes Judish was born on August 8, 1993...he is the son of Maureen and Thomas Judish...he was also recruited by UC San Diego and Cal State Monterey Bay...he chose to attend USD because of the great academics and athletic programs, the good location, and because it is his home town...he is the youngest player on the team.
