SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego baseball team has re-entered the Baseball America top-25 at No. 23, the publication announced Monday morning. USD also moved into No. 29 on the Collegiate Baseball top-30 poll, and they are receiving votes in the Perfect Game top-25 poll.

USD posted a 3-2 record this past week, highlighted by taking 2-of-3 from No. 2 Oregon State University. USD began the week with a 6-3 win over UNLV at Fowler Park on Monday. USD scored five unanswered runs in the seventh to claim the come-from-behind win. The Toreros bullpen shined in this one, allowing just three hits over five innings of work. Wes Judish (1-1) earned his first win of the season after tossing three scoreless innings. Max Homick earned his second save of the season after pitching the last 1.2 innings. Logan Davis led the way offensively, as he went 2-for-4 with a double, while Andrew Daniel went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

After USD suffered a loss to Cal State Northridge on Tuesday, they bounced back with a 7-4 upset win over No. 2 Oregon State on Friday at Fowler Park. Kris Bryant led the Torero offense, as he went 3-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Louie Lechich also had a good day at the plate, as he went 2-for-4 with two triples, one RBI and two runs scored. Daniel was the final USD player to record multiple hits, as he went 2-for-3 with one run scored. Max MacNabb (2-2) picked up the win on the mound for the Toreros, as he allowed no runs on one hit in 1.1 innings of work. Max Homick picked up his third save of the season, as he allowed no runs on no hits in 1.0 innings of work. OSU's Taylor Starr (0-1) was saddled with the loss for the Beavers, as he allowed one run on three hits in 2.0 innings of work.

USD then dropped game two of the series to OSU, before dominating the series finale on Saturday with a 13-3 win. Offensively for the Toreros, Haupt led the way, as he went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI. MacNabb (3-2) picked up the win on the mound for the Toreros, as he allowed one run on four hits in 2.1 innings of work. OSU's Ben Wetzler (0-1) was saddled with the loss for the Beavers, as he allowed six runs, two earned, on three hits in 3.0 innings of work.

The Toreros will return to action on Friday, when they head up to Los Angeles to take on Loyola Marymount in a 3 p.m. WCC game.
