SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Riley Adams is one of 15 semifinalists for the Johnny Bench Award, given to the nation's top collegiate catcher. On Monday, the three finalists will be revealed and invited to the Johnny Bench Awards banquet in Wichita, Kansas on June 29.

Adams' 2017 numbers stack up favorably amongst the other 14 semifinalists. He is tied for the most home runs and ranks in the top three in four other categories and in the top five in ten total categories. Complete stats comparison is listed below.

Adams, the 2017 WCC Player of the Year, was recently named an All-American by College Sports Madness and is expected to be one of the first collegiate catchers taken in the upcoming MLB Draft.
