Kramer named to U18 German National Team

Dennis Kramer, a 6-10 incoming forward from nearby Encinitas, California (La Costa Canyon High School), received some great news recently when he was selected to the U18 German National team. Dennis was born in Germany (his father played and coached in Germany) and he has dual citizenship. He was invited to try out this spring for the team and was named to the final roster. He will play in the U18 European Championships July 22-August 1 in Lithuania.

This past year as a senior at La Costa Canyon, where he played for coach Dave Cassaw, Kramer averaged 12.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks. He earned 2nd Team All-League honors. During his junior campaign he averaged 14.5 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks while earning First Team honors.
