SAN DIEGO – San Diego head coach Sam Scholl announced the addition of David Carter as an assistant coach on Monday as he completed his coaching staff for the 2018-19 season.
Scholl enters his first full season leading the Toreros and will be joined by assistants Chris Gerlufsen, Terrence Rencher and Carter, while Lance LaVetter enters his second year as the Director of Basketball Operations.
"I couldn't be more excited about these four men as leaders of our program,” said Scholl. “They are tremendous family men, leaders, mentors, coaches and recruiters. The group will lead a Toreros team coming off their best season in the past 10 years and is loaded with a group of talented returners.
