University of San Diego Athletics and Broadcast Company of the Americas have come to terms on a 4-year partnership agreement that grants BCA the right to carry USD men's basketball games on XX 1090-AM & ESPN Radio 1700-AM. For the upcoming 2012-13 men's basketball season XX 1090-AM will be the flagship station.

Andy Masur, the voice of USD men's basketball, returns for his 6th season with the upcoming 2012-13 campaign. All games will be broadcast on the radio and online, and games aired on XX 1090-AM will also be broadcast on the 1090 mobile app.

"The University of San Diego's commitment to this community along with providing the San Diego sports fan exciting college sports entertainment has been first rate," said Norman Feuer, BCA Vice President/Market Manager. "Broadcast Company of the Americas is proud to renew the partnership we've previously enjoyed with USD and their talented athletic and academic administration."

The USD - BCA partnership will include sports radio remotes from University of San Diego athletic facilities that include the Jenny Craig Pavilion, Fowler Park and Torero Stadium; weekly USD Head Men's Basketball Coach Interviews during the season; ticket promotions and partnership mentions; website and social media support of all broadcasts; and numerous commercial spots in every USD men's basketball broadcast.

"We are excited to announce that Torero Basketball will now be heard on the BCA radio stations XX 1090- AM and ESPN 1700-AM," said Ky Snyder, USD Executive Director of Athletics. "Their signal strength and commitment to local broadcasting make this a great fit for USD Athletics. We are also excited that Andy Masur will continue to bring live Torero Basketball to our fans."

The Toreros open up their 2012-13 season with five straight home games beginning with their season opener on November 9th against San Diego Christian. That contest will be followed by the team's first-ever multi-team tournament with home games against Northern Kentucky, Cal State Northridge, Tulsa and Siena.
