• Jacobs propels Toreros past Florida A&M 72-41


    (San Diego, Calif.) - Senior forward Thomas Jacobs scored 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in leading the USD Toreros (2-1) to a home opening 72-41 victory over Florida A&M before 1,621 fans at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. The senior backcourt of Johnny Dee (14 points) and Christopher Anderson (10 points, 6 assists) also played a key role in a solid team effort.

    Los Angeles, Calif. - The USD Toreros dropped their season opener to Boise State by the score of 81-75 today in the first game of the LMU Classic. Senior guard Johnny Dee scored a game-high 25 points and senior point guard Christopher Anderson chipped in with 14 points and 7 assists. Boise State, picked to finish 2nd in the Mountain West Conference, was paced by guard Anthony Drmic with 21 points.
