College: Attended Orange Coast Community College...competed in men's rowing earning Oarsmen of the Year in 2010...was WIRA Champions second Novice Boat...also WIRA second place Novice Lightweight 4.

Personal: Daniel "Dano" Ferons was born on April 28, 1990 in Newport Beach, CA...he is the son of Dan and Jan Ferons...chose USD for the excellent rowing program paired with a renowned marine science program...also recruited by USC, UC Davis, UCLA, UC San Diego and Rutgers...enjoys scuba diving, free diving, spearfishing and surfing in free time.
