SAN DIEGO, Calif. - This weekend, the University of San Diego men's rowing team is sending a varsity four boat to Boston for the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta.
The Toreros will be racing in the Championship 4+ category on Sunday, October 20th, event #46, beginning at 2:31 p.m. EST, and USD is bow number 14.
There will be live streaming of the event and the link to that can be found off of the Head of the Charles website http://www.hocr.org/
For anyone who may be in Boston, USD will be staging near the boat vendor area by the Wintech/King tents. Please drop Coach David Janiak a line if you want to meet up.
With over 10,000 competitors and over 300,000 spectators, the Head of the Charles is easily the largest regatta in the world! The Toreros coaching staff is proud of the work that the entire team has done this fall, and are excited to see that hard work turn in some great results this weekend.
