SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Toreros have performed well in fall racing schedule with both the varsity and novice boats turn in fast times on the water and being very competitive in all races this far.

The Varsity boats enjoyed a great day of racing November 1st at the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival in Newport Beach, Calif. The Toreros finished ahead of three boats from cross-town rival UC San Diego and just behind powerhouses Cal and Stanford. The Frosh/Novice boats also did well finishing 5th behind boats from Cal, Stanford and Orange Coast College.

The following weekend at the San Diego Fall Classic on Mission Bay, the Varsity raced in fours and swept the event placing first, second and third. At the Fall Classic the Frosh/Novices raced two eights and also placed first and second in their event, which were great results for the entire squad so far this year

The Fall Racing Season will conclude on Dec 6th at the Long Beach Christmas Regatta.
