USD: Will compete on offense at running back in 2014... Last season competed on the defensive side of the ball at linebacker and chipped in with 11 tackles (6 solo)... Selected to PFL Honor Roll... In 2012 he appeared in 10 contests... Tallied 2 tackles vs. Morehead State... Added 1 stop in four other contsts - Cal Poly, Harvard, Dayton and Marist... Sat out 2011 campaign as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL:Attended Scripps Ranch High School where he was a three-year varsity letterman in football...played under Head Coach Joe Meyer...Senior year earned Defensive Most Valuable Player, first-team All-Eastern League, Union Tribune's Athlete of the Month (July) after a season total of 70 tackles, five sacks and one interceptions for a touchdown...He also received the National Football Foundation Scholar-Leader Athlete Award...Juniors year tallied 110 tackles and eight sacks..Sophomore year recorded two interceptions.

PERSONAL: Born on July 3, 1993, in Havre de Grace, MD... Parents are Joe and Esther Campano... Chose USD for great business school, the beautiful weather and location close to home... Also recruited by Cal Poly, Brown, Georgetown and University of Rhode Island... After USD wants to become a teacher... Enjoys working out, training and participating with Volunteer San Diego.
