USD: Enters his final year with Toreros on defense at defensive end... Last season earned team award for Outstanding Lineman for defense... Ranked 8th on the team with 39 tackles (19 solo) with 11.5 tackles for loss (-41 yards), 5.5 sacks (-30 yards), and a team-best 11 quarterback hurries... Closed out the season with a personal-high 9 tackles and 5 quarterback hurries in win over Marist that helped USD earn a share of their second straight PFL title... Tallied 2 sacks in win over Valpariso... Saw action in all 11 games in 2011... Recorded nine tackles (seven solo)... Sack and forced fumble against Davidson... Appeared in nine contests in 2010, chipping in with eight tackles (three solo)... Tallied three stops in game against Morehead State... Sat out 2009 as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Palo Alto Senior High... Helped guide team to a 10-3 record during his senior year... Won Best Defensive End in Santa Clara Valley Athletic Leauge; named Team's MVP of Defense; selected All-Daily News First Team Defense; and named All San Jose Mercury News 2nd Team Defense... Lettered in Basketball for two years... Varsity football lettered three years with 70 tackles and 16 sacks.
