USD: Fourth-year player will compete on offense at wide receiver... Played in all 11 games in 2012... Place-holder for special teams... Caught 2 receptions for 15 yards at Harvard... Appeared in five contests in 2011... Appeared in 10 contests for the Toreros in 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Oak Ridge H.S... Played for coach Eric Cavaliere... First-team All-Sierra Valley Conference and All-Metro honorable mention as a senior... Tallied 58 catches for 700 yards and was 7 for 7 on field goal attempts... Set a school record with most field goals in a season... As a junior earned second-team All-SVC honors... Caught 26 balls for 450 yards while converting 6 of 10 field goal attempts... Earned second-team All-Metro recognition sophomore year... Was 6 for 8 on field goals and recorded 12 receptions for 150 yards... Had three field goals in one game... Earned one varsity letter in basketball.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 16, 1991 in Sacramento, Calif... Son of Bob and Keri Beyer... Was also recruited by UC Davis, Occidental, and Columbia... Chose USD because of the academic prestige, location, and chance to play football... Member of the Squaw Valley Ski Team... Has participated on mission trips to Mexico with his church youth group...
