• Toreros host Dayton Flyers in key PFL game on...


    The USD Toreros (5-1; 3-1 PFL), under the direction of second year head coach Dale Lindsey, play a key PFL contest this weekend when they host the Dayton Flyers (5-1; 3-0 PFL) in a 6:00 p.m. contest at Walter J. Zable Field at Torero Stadium (6,000 capacity). Both teams are riding four game winning streaks.

  • Jamal Agnew named PFL Player of the Week


    Sophomore cornerback Jamal Agnew (San Diego, Calif.) was named the co-Pioneer Football League defensive player of the week for his performance in the team's 27-21 road win over Butler on Saturday. Agnew defended five passes, including a pair of interceptions, his third and fourth picks on the year. His first interception came in the end zone on Butler's first drive, denying a touchdown that would prove critical. Agnew's second interception stopped a Butler drive at the San Diego 27-yard line in the fourth quarter. He also had three tackles (all solo) in the contest.

    (Indianapolis, IN) - The USD Toreros won their fourth straight game as they earned a hard-fought 27-21 win over the host Butler Bulldogs (3-4; 1-3 PFL). The win improves USD's season mark to 5-1, and moves their PFL record to 3-1. USD returns to Walter J. Zable Field at Torero Stadium on Saturday, October 25th, when they host the Dayton Flyers in a 6:00 pm contest.
