NOTABLE: Senior Grant Forrest has recently been selected to represent Scotland in the World Amateur Team Championship... The championship will be held in Karuizawa, Japan on September 9-14, 2014 at Karuizawa East Golf Club... The 72-hole stroke play event is comprised of three player teams from various countries competing for the prestigious 26th Eisenhower Trophy... Grant is currently ranked 18th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and the event is comprised of some the world's best amateur golfers... Forrest competed this past June in the prestigious Palmer Cup for the Europe Team... Won two singles matches to help Europe defeat the USA 18.5 to 11.5... It was the biggest win in the final since Colin Montomerie's victory at Nairin 25 years ago. After a superb six days on the glorious Dornoch Firth, Forrest came out on top from a starting field of 256, representing more than 130 clubs, and triumphed over eight matches spanning nine rounds. Following his success in the Scottish Under-16s in 2009 and the Scottish Boys a year later, he has achieved a notable hat-trick.

Playing out of Craigielaw Golf Club, was crowned the 2010 Scottish Boys Golf Champion after he beat fellow-Scottish Boys Internationalist Ian Redford of the New Club St. Andrews by 3&2 in the 36 holes final at West Kilbride Golf Club, Ayrshire... Represented Great Britain and Ireland in the 2010 Jacques Leglise Trophy against Europe... Playing in the 2010 Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters, lost in a playoff after firing rounds of 73, 70, 69, 70 (6-under par)... In 2009 he was the Scottish Boys U-16 stroke play champion after rounds of 71, 70, and 71 (1-under par)...
