HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Saint Viator HS in Illinois with golf team winning state title three straight years (sophomore thru senior seasons)... Junior year won individual state title and was tabbed team MVP... Sophomore year was sectional champion, while he tied for 6th overall his final year.
PERSONAL: Born on October 10, 1991 in Arlington Heights, IL... Parents are Thomas and Kristie Carlson of Inverness, IL... Chose USD for academics and the great weather... Also recruited by Villanova, Illinois, Illinois State and Michigan... Besides playing golf, enjoys hanging out with family and friends... Besides watching golf, also enjoys watching hockey... Notes his favorite team is the Green Bay Packers.
