USD: Enters year of competition with the Torero golf program... Did not compete during the 2016-17 campaign... In 2015-16 competed in three tournaments and finished with a scoring average of 82.5... Best finish was 61st place at The Farms Collegiate Invitational, and his low round was 77 (Barona Cup Collegiate)... Sat out the 2014-15 campaign as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Phillips Academy Andover... Team Captain senior year.

PERSONAL: Born on January 4, 1996 in Worcester, MA... Son of Tushara Canekeratne... Chose USD to attend school with a great business program and also to play golf at the highest level... Also recruited by Mercer, Sewanee, and Trinity (San Antonio)... Enjoys playing basketball, and watching all Boston sports teams.
