Notable: Competed in the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship at Chambers Bay Golf Course (University Place, Washington), shooting 8-over par 151 (74-77) and falling two strokes short of making the cut for the Match Play format of the tournament.

2010-11 at USD: Competed in four fall tournaments with a best showing of T9th at the Wolf Pack Classic (142; 69-73)... Got his 2011 spring season off to a great start by winning the Battle at the Beach with a three-round total of 203 (65-67-71)... It was his first full field collegiate win.

2009-10 at USD: Played a total of 20 rounds for a scoring average of 73.45... At the WCC Championships, opened with a solid even-par 72 in the opening round and finished tied for 23rd... Won the San Diego Intercollegiates with a two round total of 144 (72-72), edging out teammate Jason Shano by one stroke... Tied for 7th at the Fresno State Lexus Classic with a three round total of 214 (73-70-71)... During the fall campaign competed in the Kauai Collegiate Invitational where he finished tied for 12th place at 213 (70-73-70).

2008-09 at USD: Third season with USD and second in competition... This past Fall he competed in the Wolverine Intercollegiate in Ann Arbor, MI... Carded a third round score of 74.

2007-08 at USD: Sat out as a red-shirt.

2006-07 at USD: Appeared in four tournaments during his freshman campaign... Averaged 76.0 for 12 rounds... Best finish was tied for 40th (83 golfers) at the Hawaii Fall Intercollegiate... Turned in an even-par 72 in final round of the Hawaii Fall Intercollegiate.

High School: Attended Union Mine High School where the Diamondbacks were Sierra Valley Conference league champions during his sophomore campaign... Two year League MVP.

Personal: Born on March 20, 1988 in Sacramento, CA... Parents are Thomas and Ellen McCready of Placerville, CA... His sister, Kimberly, plays golf at the University of Oregon... Chose USD for a great education, along with campus atmosphere and solid golf program... Also recruited by Oregon, San Jose State and New Mexico... Earned Second Honors Dean's List at USD... Enjoys snowboarding which he has been doing for 10 years.
