  • Nathan Zhao enters his third season with the USD Torero golf program
  • Last season (2016-17) he appeared in eight tournaments and finished with an average of 76.2 strokes per round
  • Tied for 29th at the Desert Mountain Invitational (220; 71-72-77)
  • Carded a 71 in the 2nd round of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitaitonal
  • Shot a 72 in the second round of the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic and a 73 in the second round of the PRO Compressional Invitational
  • In 2015-16 he appeared in three tournaments and finished with a scoring average of 77.9 strokes per round
  • His best finish was a tie for 32nd at the Barona Collegiate Cup (226, 74-77-75)
  • He carded a low round of 71 at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic

  • In 2014-15 Zhao attended Harvest Christian Academy in Guam, USA
  • He is a member of the Guam National Team and will represent Guam to compete in the Asia Pacific Amateur in Hong Kong this coming October
  • Prior to attending Harvest Christian Academy, Zhao competed three years at Shattuck St. Mary's in Minnesota where he enrolled in the Center for Golf Excellence Program
  • Between 2011 and 2014, Nathan along with his Shattuck coach, played FCWT and Plantations tours in the Mid-West and won several tournaments and was in the top five many times
  • In 2013, He won a PGA Junior series in Genoa Lakes, NV and advanced to the 38th PGA Junior Championship and made cut
  • He has also competed in the San Diego Junior Amateur both in 2014 and 2015 with 6th and 3rd place finish
  • Additionally, he won the Governor's Cup tournament in Guam in 2014
