(Fresno, CA) - The USD golf team finds itself tied for 10th place after two rounds of the twenty-team field Fresno State Lexus Golf Classic. The Toreros shot team scores of 301 and 298, and their 599 team total has them tied with Oklahaoma with one round to go. UC Davis and Washington are tied for first at 584 (+8), while Fresno State and BYU are tied for 3rd at 590. Torero freshman Alex Ching fired rounds of 73-74 and finds himself tied for 17th at 147 (+3). Phil Huffman of UC Davis is the two-round leader at 139 (72-67), with UC Irvine's Michael Im close behind (141).

Rounding out USD scoring is senior Blake Trimble (76-74) and sophomore Gunner Wiebe (73-77), both tied for 36th at 150; senior Jake Yount is tied for 58th at 153 (79-74); and Jason Shano is tied for 88th at 160 (84-76). The third and final round will be played Tuesday morning at the Belmont Country Club (par 72).
