TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of San Diego golf team finished 12th (out of 16 teams) in the Don Puckette N.I.T. with a three round score of 893 (298-297-297). New Mexico finished in first with an 844 (277-288-279), finishing one stroke ahead of TCU (845; 279, 281, 285).

TCU's Julien Brun posted the best individual score with a 208 (68-65,-75). Texas A&M's Ben Crancer finished one stroke behind him with a 209 (67,-70-72), although he was playing as an individual.

The Toreros were led by Grant Forrest (73-73-76) and Skyler Finnell (70-78-74), who both shot a 222 and finished tied for 47th. Rounding out the rest of the Toreros scores were Taylor Schmidt (t-58th; 74-79-72) Linus Vaisanen (t-65th; 73- 76-78), Mathis Dahl (t-67th; 80-70-78), and Alexis Gemme Piacente (82nd, 78-82-71).

The Toreros return to action March 25 at the Eugene (Ore.) Country Club where they play in the Duck Invitational.
