TEMPE, Ariz. - The University of San Diego men's golf team shot a second round team score of 286 and find themselves tied for seventh place (15 teams) with one round to go at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational (Karsten Golf Course on ASU campus). Host ASU leads after totaling a combined score of 543, and are followed by Iowa State (553) and Iowa (555). USD's Joe Carlson fired a second round score of 72 and is tied for 19th overall.

Other USD players competing include Grant Forrest (141, T24th), Alex Chiarella (142, T35th), Taylor Schmidt (144, T35th) and Mathias Dahl (146, T50th). Mike Bosco, playing as an individual shot an second round 81, which ties him for 77th with a combined score of 158. The final round play begins at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
