Grant Forrest was one under par in day two of the NCAA Regionals

Grant Forrest shot a one-under par in the second round Friday morning at Briggs Ranch Golf Course in San Antonio, Tex. Forrest birdied hole No. 13 and No. 1 , bogeyed No. 9, and shot a par on the remaining 15 holes. Forrest is tied for 23rd place (out of 75) with a score of 145 (+1) entering the final day of Regionals.
Starting on the tenth hole, Forrest birdied the 13th hole for the second consecutive day. He began the front nine with a birdie on hole No. 1, where he shot a double-bogey the previous day. Forrest parred the next seven holes before finishing the round with a bogey on hole No. 9.
Julien Brun of TCU is the clubhouse leader with a ten under par. SMU's Bryson Dechambeau is his closest competitor with a six under.
Forrest will tee off for this final round Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. where he will be paired with Northwestern's Matthew Negri and Houston Baptist's Preston Stanley.
