(Bremerton, WA) - The USD men's golf team finds itself in 2nd place (15 teams) with one round to go at the 2013 Kikkor Husky Invite being played on the Olympic Course (par 72, 7124 yards) in Bremerton, Washington. Host Washington leads the event with a two-round total of 575 (-11), while the Toreros find themselves ten strokes back at 575 (284-291). USD is being paced by Grant Forrest and Taylor Schmidt, each currently tied for 9th overall at 143. Forrest fired an opening round 69 and followed up with a 74; Schmidt carded 74-69. Washington's Cheng-Tsung Pan is the clubhouse leader at 138 (68-70) and holds a two stroke lead over BYU's Joe Parkinson (73-67).
Rounding out USD scoring is Joe Carlson (T19 at 145; 70-75), Skyler Finnell (T47 at 150; 77-73) and Sebastian Smith (T55 at 152; 71-81). USD's Mathias Dahl, playing as an individual, fired rounds of 73-81 and sits at 154 (+12).
