(Bremerton, WA) - The USD men's golf team shot a final round team score of 296 to finish in 4th place (15 teams) at the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational being played on the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington. The Toreros finished with a three-round total of 871 (+7) with host Washington running away with a 17-under par total of 847. Arizona State (865) and Oregon State (868) rounded out the top-three. UW's Cheng-Tsung Pen won medalist honors with a strong 11-under par total of 205 (68-70-67). USD's Taylor Schmidt turned in a top-10 performance with his tie for 7th place with his 2-under par total of 214 (74-69-71).

Rounding out USD scoring was Grant Forrest (T15 at 217; 69-74-74), Joe Carlson (T32 at 221; 70-75-76), Sebastian Smith (T54 at 227; 71-81-75) and Skyler Finnell (T60 at 229; 77-73-79). USD's Mathias Dahl, competing as an individual, finished at 228 (73-81-74).

Up next for USD will be the St. Mary's Inviational in Seaside, California (Bayonet & Blackhorse GC) on September 23-24.
