(Princeville, HI) - The USD golf team is competing in the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational at the Makai Golf Club at Princeville in Princeville, Hawaii. After today's second round of the three-day, three-round tournament, the Toreros are in 11th place overall with a team score of 571 (-5) in the 18-team event. Cal State Fullerton (-30) holds a four stroke lead over Louisville with a two-round total of 546. Mark Anguiano of CS Fullerton and Chad Ramey of Mississippi State are the clubhouse leaders at 131 (-13).

USD junior Grant Forrest shot a second round 2-under par 70 and is tied for 12th at 139 (-5). Sophomore Alex Chiarella shot the team's low round of the day with his 4-under par 68 to move up into a tie for 25th at 141. Rounding out USD scoring was Mathias Dahl (T53 at 145; 75-70), Taylor Schmidt (T72 at 149; 72-77) and Joe Carlson (T85 at 152; 78-74). Freshman Skyler Finnell turned in a solid second round with his 1-under par 71 and sits in a tie for 79th at 150 (79-71).
