(Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland) - USD junior golfer Grant Forrest (North Berwick, Scotland) struggled to a second round 86 to finish at 159 (+17) in the 2013 British Open being played at historic Muirfield. Despite his disappointing round, it was an unbelievable experience for Forrest who grew up just minutes away from the course. After carding an excellent 73 (+2) in round one on Thursday, Forrest managed to tally just two birdies and two pars in today's round. His birdies came on back-to-back holes on the 11th (389 yards) and 12th (382 yards). The projected cut for weekend play will include the low 70 players plus ties.

For the second straight day Forrest played with 56-year-old Mark O'Meara, and Marcus Fraser. O'Meara, who won the Claret Jug in 1998, followed up his opening round 67 with a 78 and sits at 145 (+3). Fraser had the low round in the group today and owns a total of 147 (73-74).
