WCC Honors 139 USD Student-Athletes on Commissioner's Honor Roll

Over 1,000 WCC student-athletes garnered honors on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.

USD HIGHLIGHTS

RS Sophomore (2014): Did not make any appearances on the year.

RS Freshman (2013): Did not make any appearances on the year.

Freshman (2012): Redshirted.

High School: Attended Capital Christian High School where he earned four varsity letters in soccer... As a senior, was named Sacramento Soccer Player of the Year and Golden Empire League Defensive Player of the Year... Recorded 14 shutouts while being named team MVP... His team went unndefeated his senior season, winning their league and section and earning a No. 14 national ranking... Also earned league defensive player of the year honors as a freshman... Competed with the California Development Academy, where his team went to the Academy playoffs two years in a row and were the Surf Cup champions in 2010.

Personal: Born November 17, 1993 in Folsom, Calif.... Parents are John and Peggy Murray... Chose USD because of the great academics, great soccer and beautiful campus and location... Was also recruited by Harvard, Princeton, Penn, UC Davis and Saint Mary's, among others.
