Prep/Club: Prepped at Temecula Valley High School where he was twice named All-Valley and All-Southwestern League... Also earned the Defensive MVP award his junior season... Led Temecula Valley to the League Championship his sophomore year, earning the Young Player of the Year award... Also was named All-Valley and All-League as a football player... Named team captain four times for the Southwest Soccer Club.

Personal: Born on October 18, 1985 in Oceanside, CA... Recruited out of high school by CS Fullerton, UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine and San Diego State... Chose USD for the location and quality of the soccer program... His father, Ken, wrestled at LSU.
