SAN DIEGO, Calif.- University of San Diego junior midfielder Conor McFadden was named one of 16 Stars of the Month by the San Diego Hall of Champions for his play during the month of November. McFadden scored two goals in the Toreros' final four matches to wrap up the season, while also being named West Coast Conference honorable mention.

He tallied his second goal of the season, and first game-winning goal, when he connected in the first minute of USD's 2-0 win over Gonzaga at home on Nov. 4th. He followed that up with an eighth-minute game-winner against Loyola Marymount on Nov. 9th that gave the Toreros a 1-0 win over the Lions and kept USD's postseason hopes alive.

The Toreros (9-9-1, 6-5-1 WCC) wrapped up the year in a tie for third place, but McFadden earned the first all-conference nod of his career.

Overall on the season, McFadden tallied a career-high three goals and three assists for a total of nine points, which was tied for second-most on the team.

He joined freshman Johnny Dee of the USD men's basketball team as the only two Toreros to earn the honor for this past month.
