• Christian Duke's Year of Championships


    Former Torero standout Christian Duke has done more winning in the past 12 months than most soccer players accomplish in a lifetime. After playing a vital role in USD's run to the Elite Eight last fall, Duke helped lead Orlando City to a USL Pro League Championship in September, and then was a part of Sporting Kansas City's MLS Championship squad earlier this month.

  • Men's soccer has seven All-WCC honorees


    SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The USD men's soccer team had seven players selected to the All-West Coast Conference team, which was announced on Tuesday. Connor Brandt and Julian Ringhof represented USD on the first team, while Torrey DeArmas was selected to the second team and Michael D'Arrigo, Elijah Galbraith-Knapp, and Keegan Smith were each honorable mention selections and Michael Turner was named to the All-Freshman team.

  • USD men's soccer falls 2-0 in season finale


    SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The USD men's soccer team dropped their season finale by a score of 2-0 at Santa Clara on Sunday afternoon at Buck Shaw Stadium. The Broncos (11-9-0, 8-4-0) picked up a pair of second-half goals to down the Toreros (6-10-4, 2-7-3).

  • Julian Ringhof named to WCC All-Academic squad


    SAN DIEGO, Calif. - University of San Diego senior defender Julian Ringhof was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic team on Friday. Ringhof (Sexau, Germany) has a 3.97 GPA as a mechanical engineering major. He was named to the Capital One Academic All-District team earlier this season. This is the first time Ringhof has earned WCC All-Academic honors.
