• Toreros Stopped By No. 6 USC

    The No. 32 University of San Diego men's tennis team (8-3, 2-0 WCC) had their winning streak come to an end against the No. 6 University of Southern California Trojans (11-2) Thursday afternoon at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. The Toreros executed a strong doubles performance, but were unable to stop the Trojans in singles play.

    The San Diego Hall of Champions named sophomore Filip Vittek, who has helped lead his 32nd-ranked squad to eight-straight victories, a Star of the Month for February. Vittek is currently ranked No. 68 in singles and boasts an undefeated record in both singles and doubles for the 2015 dual season. This is Vittek's career-first SDHOC Star of the Month accolade.

    The No. 32 University of San Diego men's tennis team (8-2, 2-0 WCC) earned its second West Coast Conference Player of the Week honor in singles. Sophomore Filip Vittek was recognized once again for his outstanding performance in singles the league office announced on Tuesday.

  • No. 32 Toreros Prep for Top-Ranked USC

    The No. 32 University of San Diego men's tennis team stay close to home this week to face the No. 6 University of Southern California Trojans this Thursday at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. This match will coincide with the 126th Annual Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championship (March 5-8) held at the same venue. This year's annual doubles event will feature top-ranked collegiate athletes, former professionals, and everything in between. The Toreros have competed in the Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championship for the last six seasons.
