TULSA, Okla. - University of San Diego men's tennis players Clarke Spinosa and Thibaut Visy each lost their respective first-round matches at the ITA All-American Championships on Monday in qualifying action at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Spinosa, ranked No. 119 in the ITA preseason rankings, fell to Chris Diaz of Ohio State in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2, while No. 91 Visy lost to Drake's James McKie 6-2, 6-4.

Spinosa will play No. 75 Patrick Kawka of BYU in the consolation draw on Tuesday and Visy will meet No. 102 David Hopkins of Wake Forest in the consolation as well.
