LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The University of San Diego's Clarke Spinosa and Thibaut Visy claimed the doubles title at the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships on Sunday afternoon at UCLA after knocking off teammates Romain Kalaydjian and Victor Pugliese 8-4 in the doubles final.
On the singles side, Spinosa lost to No. 1 seed Andre Dome of Cal Poly 6-1, 6-4 in the singles final.
The conclusion of the five-day tournament at UCLA's Los Angeles Tennis Center marks the end of the fall campaign for the Toreros. USD kicks off the 2013 regular season on Jan. 25 when they compete in the ITA Kickoff Weekend at Stanford. The Toreros are slated to face Texas Tech in their first match in that tournament.
