SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego men's tennis team was picked to finish second in the 2014 West Coast Conference preseason poll, which was released by the conference on Monday. The Toreros, who finished third in the WCC last season, received 73 points overall and two first-place votes from conference coaches. Senior captain Clarke Spinosa was one of six WCC players named to the preseason all-conference team.
No. 41 USD, the only other team receiving first-place votes, came in behind conference-favorite No. 12 Pepperdine, who took home eight first-place votes and 80 overall points.
