    The No. 22 University of San Diego men's tennis team concluded their season as one of the top squads in the nation the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Tuesday afternoon. The Toreros, who finished with a 23-5 overall record, ended their NCAA Championship run after a 4-3 loss to the No. 40 San Diego State University Aztecs in the first round.

    The University of San Diego men's tennis team's Uros Petronijevic and doubles tandem Jordan Angus and Filip Vittek suffered tight, first-round losses at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at Baylor University's Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas. Petronijevic completed his contest yesterday evening, while Angus and Vittek ended their run Thursday afternoon.

    The University of San Diego men's tennis team continued to receive accolades after the conclusion of the 2015 season. Head coach Brett Masi (SW Wilson/ITA Coach of the Year), Assistant coach Matt Brooklyn (SW ITA Assistant Coach of the Year), and junior Uros Petronijevic (SW ITA Player to Watch) obtained praises from the ITA, Intercollegiate Tennis Association, Southwest Region announced on Tuesday.

    The No. 21 University of San Diego men's tennis team (23-5) concluded their historic season Friday afternoon at the Marks Tennis Stadium in the first round of the NCAA Championships. The Toreros were narrowly ousted by crosstown rival and 40th-ranked San Diego State (19-8) in a 4-3 contest. The squad ends their run with their fifth-straight NCAA appearance, while claiming the highest winning percentage in USD history at .821% (previous, .818 1980).
