Competed in the NCAA Western Regional, finishing with a 10k time of 33:11 (153rd place)... Also competed in the Stanford Invite (26:15).
High School: Attended Damien High School... Earned a total of eight varsity letters in cross country, soccer, and track and field... Named first-team all-league in cross country as a junior and senior... Named team MVP during his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons... Earned All-CIF and Scholar-Athlete honors as a senior... Posted a 15:56 at Mt. Sac as a senior along with a 15:12 three mile time... Named team Rookie of the Year as a freshman... In track and field, was named Freshman of the Year while also earning the Coaches Award as s junior and first-team all-league honors as a senior... Clocked times of 9:41 in the 3200M as a senior and 4:25 in the 1600M... Also competed with the Southern California Roadrunners... Took fourth place at Regionals in 2009 and third place as a team at the Junior Oylmpics, also in 2009.
