• Toreros Compete at UC Riverside Invite


    Friday night, the men and women's cross country team packed up the vans and traveled to Riverside to compete in the UCR Invite. This meet marked a great step into the upcoming season. The Toreros' Sam Mattice turned on the heat and took home 15th place, leading the women to an 8th place finish out of 23 teams.

    The UC Riverside men's and women's cross country teams will host the 34th Annual UCR Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 13th beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Ag/Ops Course in Riverside, Calif. With the preseason in the rear-view and the competitive season beginning, the Toreros are geared up and ready to go.

  • Freshman Liam Burke Wins Mark Covert Invite


    The Torero cross-country team kicked off the 2014 season with a strong start at the Mark Covert Classic Saturday morning. Freshman Liam Burke captured first place in his first career race as a Torero to vault the men's team to a fourth place finish.

  • Torero Track Train Steams Through Occidental...


    The Torero season finished this past Saturday night at the Occidental College Track Invite. It was the final performance for some seniors: Gillian Gorelik, Erik Anderson, and Rudy Mendoza. The outcome of the competition brought the Toreros seven personal records, and 10 season bests, and one school record.
