• Toreros Close Out Season at NCAA Regionals


    The USD men's and women's cross-country team wrapped up their regular season Friday at the NCAA West Regionals, held at the Stanford Golf Course in Palo Alto, Calif. Freshman Sam Mattice paced the women's team once again, finishing the 6k in 22:06, good for 95th place. The women's team had three runners finish in the top 150 and earned 25th place overall (out of 34 teams). The men's team was led by Spencer Hoffman, who ran the 10k in 32:36.

  • Toreros Head to Stanford for NCAA Regionals


    The USD cross-country teams will head to the Bay Area to compete in the NCAA Regionals at the Stanford Golf Course on Friday. The women's 6k will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the men's 10k at noon.

  • Toreros Grab Eighth Place at WCC Championships


    The USD cross-country team competed at the WCC Championships Saturday morning at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif. The women's team, led by Sam Mattice, took sixth place (out of ten). Malik Hayes had the top time for the men's team, who finished eighth.

  • XC Turns Sights to WCC Championships


    The USD cross-country team will head to Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif. for the WCC Championships this Saturday. The event, hosted by Santa Clara University, will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the women's 6k and then be followed by the Men's 8km at 11:00 a.m.
