Student athletes support TLC Toy Drive
Dec. 16, 2013
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego Athletic Department, The College of Arts and Sciences, The School of Business Solidarity Committee, The Community of Human Resources, The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), student athletes and Torero fans helped make the 11th Annual Toreros Linking to the Community (TLC) Toy Drive, Donate a Dollar and Adopt a Family programs another huge success. Through our combined efforts the annual TLC Donate-a-Dollar and Toy Drive program raised $1,400 in donations and over a hundred gifts for deserving parents and children throughout Linda Vista. Families apply for the program through the Mission Valley YMCA and must be eligible for that organization's program to qualify and benefit from the TLC Toy Drive.
It was another genuine community effort and the program is deeply appreciated by those who benefit from it. Thank you to all who participated, we could not have done it without you!
