• Kyle Miller recognized at West Coast Conference...


    SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- USD senior Kyle Miller (Saratoga, Calif.), a member of the Torero football team, was recognized by the West Coast Conference and institutional Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) groups with this year's male sportsmanship award at the WCC Honors Dinner last Thursday, June 5th at Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah.

    Over two days in May, the University of San Diego Sports Medicine Staff certified over 50 coaches, athletes, and administrators in American Heart Association First Aid, CPR, and AED! Lead instructors, Carolyn Greer and Paul Signorelli, assisted by Justine Coliflores ATC, Tyler Arford ATC, and Leah Sturdivant ATC also provided a review of the Athletic Department Emergency Action Plan.

  • President Hosts Luncheon for Scholar Athletes


    The University of San Diego's President's Luncheon for scholar athletes recognizes outstanding academic achievement and athletic accomplishments by intercollegiate student-athletes who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or greater. Recipients must also have completed two full-time semesters at USD.

  • Torero Athletes Honored at Celebration of...


    The University of San Diego honored the athletic and academic accomplishments of its student-athletes Monday night at the "Celebration of Excellence" ceremony at the Prado in Balboa Park. Among the honorees were senior Chloe Ferrari of the volleyball team, who took home "Female Torero of the Year," and seniors Clarke Spinosa (men's tennis) and Mason Mills (football), who were co-winners of the "Male Torero of the Year" award.
