Started all 30 games for the Toreros... posted career-highs with 9.4 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game... led the team with 49 steals (1.63 spg)... second on the team with 75 assists (2.5 apg)... second on the team in minutes per game (29.9)... led the team in free-throw attempts (112)... scored season-high 17 points in season opener against Cal State Fullerton (11/11/16)... hit the game-winning shot against Santa Clara in her final home game (2/18/17).

JUNIOR (2015-16)

Played in 33 games with 33 starts... helped lead USD to the Sweet 16 of the WNIT... helped lead the team to its fifth consecutive 20-win season...averaged 7.5 ppg, while shooting .395 from the field...scored in double figures 10 times...scored a season-high 15 points in a win against Santa Clara (1/9/16)...scored 14 points in a win over Gonzaga (1/16/16)...scored 13 points in a win against Portland (1/14/16)...scored 12 points against BYU (2/18/16), CSUN (11/17/15), and against Hope (12/15/16).

SOPHOMORE (2014-15)

Played in all 32 games with 10 starts, while rotating between the 1-2 positions... helped lead USD to its fourth consecutive 20-win season, and fourth consecutive WNIT appearance ...averaged 7.5 ppg, while also recording 75 assists...scored in double figures in 11 games with a career-high of 20 coming in a win against UC Irvine (12/14/14)... scored 18 points in a win against Cal State Fullerton (11/18/14)...scored 16 points in a win against Idaho (11/22/14)...scored 15 points in a win against Pepperdine (1/8/15)...scored 16 points in a win against Gonzaga (2/26/15).

FRESHMAN (2013-14)

Played in 32 games with four starts...became of the best defenders oh the court for the Toreros, and was a valuable asset both in starting and reserve roles...averaged 3.6 ppg...scored a career-high 12 points three different times, once in her first start of the season against Saint Mary's (2/1/14), and the other came in the post season, I wins over Cal Poly (3/20/14) and Montana (3/24/14)...recorded a career-high 12 rebounds in a loss to Saint Mary's (2/1/14)... helped lead USD to a program record 15-0 start, best start for any USD athletic team in the division I era...helped lead USD to its first ever national ranking at No. 24...helped lead USD to its third consecutive 20-win season, and helped team post second most wins in program history with 24...helped lead USD into the Sweet 16 of the WNIT.


Attended Dobson High School where she played for Coach Tyler a senior, she averaged 12.6 ppg, and 1.8 apg...she was named the Mesa, Ariz. City Player of the Year, named second-team All-State, first-team All-Section and first-team All-Division as a senior...she was also named second-team All-State...helped lead her team to a 22-8 overall record and the Quarterfinals of the State a junior, she averaged 14.1 ppg, 3.6 apg, and 8.3 rpg...helped her team post a 24-9 overall record and reach the state playoffs Final Four...she was named first-team All-State, first-team All-Division I (AIA) and first-team All-D1- Section 2 (AIA)...she also took home first-team All-City honors for Mesa, a sophomore, she averaged 11.4 ppg, 3.2 apg and 6.9 a freshman, she averaged 6.8 ppg, 3.4 apg, 3.0 rpg and 1.9 spg....Also lettered in track, where she was a City Champion in the 100m, 200m, and a State Qualifier in the 100m, 4x100m relay.


Katherine Denise Hamilton was born on Nov. 23, 1994 in Elk Grove, IL...she is the daughter of Keith and Jacqueline Hamilton...chose USD for the team, coaching staff, and beautiful campus...also recruited by Providence, UTEP, Utah, Indiana, Michigan State, Arizona and Saint Mary's...notes that she likes tO go on hikes and to watch the sunrise.
